Rebecca’s love for fitness began when she joined her community’s summer soccer team at the age of 12. From there, she went on to play basketball, Taekwondo, and rugby (which turned out to be her favorite).
Sports brought out the competitive side of her and pushed her to continuously try to better herself both physically and mentally. Although she had always workout out at home and with her team-mates on the field, it wasn’t until after she had her ACL surgery that she found her love of going to the gym.
“After my surgery, I was told I’d gave to wear a metal brace whenever I did any physical activity and that I’d never been able to play rugby ever again. However, I was determined to prove the doctors wrong so I dedicated all of my free time to go to the gym where I worked to get my muscles strengthened back up. Going to the gym made me realize that I could truly do anything I set my mind to.”
Other than Masstown Movement Fitness, Rebecca work for Belisle Solution Nutrition Inc. where she helps dairy and poultry farmers with their animal’s nutrition needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time on the farm with all of her fur babies and her fiance, Blake. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as helping others achieve their fitness goals.
