A single mom to 2 fantastic kids and has always tried to put them first. Putting my health and fitness as a priority makes me feel like I’ve been giving them the best possible role model that a mother can be.
I was in my early teens when I became aware of just how important fitness could be in having a healthy and thriving life. In my early 20’s, I was gifted a membership to Bruno’s Gym in Truro. My passion for weightlifting began. Since that time, I’ve been a member of one fitness facility or another for the past 20 + years
Since becoming a member of Masstown Movement Fitness in October of 2019, I’ve felt my confidence level with my fitness journey increase dramatically. Thanks to Amanda, Jennifer and the many fantastic fellow members that I have come to know. In saying that, I absolutely jumped at the chance to join the MMF team when the opportunity presented itself. I feel the decision to join this amazing group is the very best thing I have done for myself in a long time!
Within a week or two of joining the MMF team, I decided to take a BIG step and enrolled in an online program, studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer, with a specialty in Strength and Conditioning. Jennifer and Amanda have been such an inspiration to me, that this decision was easily made. These ladies are very encouraging and supportive of this new challenge that I have tasked myself with, and I am so grateful!
I feel that my fitness journey has brought me to MMF for a reason. I feel prompted to share my passion, experience, and ever-expanding education with other individuals that are starting their own personal fitness journey who may need a little guidance, encouragement, and support.
